PwC Agency Manager Gateway Privacy Statement

The Agency Manager Gateway is a service offering of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC US), the US member firm of the PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) global network of member firms. Each PricewaterhouseCoopers member firm is a separate and independent legal entity. This statement sets forth PwC's Privacy Statement for Agency Manager Gateway and describes the practices that PwC will follow with respect to the privacy of Users and the information contained within this Site. By submitting identifying data as a visitor to our website, you are agreeing to PricewaterhouseCoopers' use of such data as described in this privacy statement.
"We" or "us" in this Privacy Statement means, in relation to your personal data, the PricewaterhouseCoopers entity that is the controller of that personal data.
"You" in this Privacy Statement refers to the individual who is the recruiting agent or referring party collecting and submitting candidate information on behalf of a jobseeker.
"Kenexa Corporation" refer(s) to the third party entity that provides the hosting facilities for PwC US and is acting at the direction of PwC US.
The personal information collected on the Agency Manager Gateway is limited to names, telephone numbers, email addresses, current/previous employer information, educational background, and is only used to process the jobseeker submission for a specific job posting or to match the jobseekers to other PwC job postings. By submitting a jobseeker on this gateway, you confirm that you are authorized by and have the consent of the jobseeker to submit this information. The collection of personal data on the website will be facilitated by Kenexa Corporation.
You can update the data we hold about your jobseekers on the Agency Manager Gateway by editing their profiles on the "Active Candidates" tab. You will be given your own user name and password which allows you to access the gateway, and to submit and manage jobseekers.
1. Is personal data transferred to another country?
Due to the international nature of the services provided by PwC and the nature of PwC's activities, personal data may, subject to applicable law, be transferred internationally to other PwC global networks for the purposes described above. Personal data collected by us may be transferred to other PwC firms, which are member firms of the global network, where it is necessary to meet the purpose for which you have submitted the information. By submitting data on our website, you are providing explicit consent to cross border transmission of data collected on our website for the fulfillment of your requests.
2. Is personal data disclosed to other entities?
Data will only be disclosed to certain types of staff within PwC (i.e. staff whose job it is to process jobseekers and employment opportunities) and they will only process the data for the purposes identified in this Privacy Statement. Personal data will also, subject to applicable law, be disclosed where such disclosure is required by law through subpoena, search warrant or other forms of legal process.
3. How long is personal data retained?
We will retain personal data about the jobseekers for only as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Statement and in compliance with the Firm’s data retention policies. Kenexa Corporation will retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary, either as required by their internal requirements or as requested by PwC.
When personal data is retained, PricewaterhouseCoopers assumes responsibility for keeping an accurate record of the information once a visitor has submitted and verified the data. We do not assume responsibility for verifying the ongoing accuracy of the content of personal information.
4. How is personal data secured?
Kenexa Corporation has implemented generally accepted standards of technology, including Secure Socket Layer (SSL), and operational security in order to protect personal information from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. However, the nature of the Internet is, of course, such that the data may flow over networks without appropriate security measures and may be accessed and used by unauthorized persons. Only authorized PwC personnel and third party personnel are provided access to personally identifiable information and these employees have agreed to ensure confidentiality of this information.
5. Are cookies used on the website?
Cookies may be used on some pages of our site. "Cookies" are small text files placed on your computer that assists us in providing a more customized website experience. For example, a cookie can be used to store registration information in an area of the site so that a user does not need to re-enter it on subsequent visits to that area.
